Saturday we went on a roadtrip to see the Locust Creek Covered Bridge. It was built in 1868 and is one of only four remaining covered bridges in Missouri. We had to walk a 1/4 of a mile back to the bridge--I pulled Nanny along so she could keep up. The creek was diverted years ago so now the bridge is just sits over a patch of grass :)
After we looked the bridge over we had a picnic at Pershing State Park. I love picnics!
